Toktogul  is a district in the Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan. Surrounded by the Tien Shan mountain ranges to the West, the Toktogul plain has a long history, spanning many generations. Its location on the Naryn river, surrounded by mountains, makes it invulnerable from enemy attacks and natural disasters . In the 7th-4th centuries BC, the valley was home to a tribe of Scythian warriors who were attracted by the variety and beauty of the area's nature. In the old days, the Scythians believed that there was an underground world and they buried kings and warriors with their household utensils, with their slaves, horses, guns, so that they could use them in the underground life. Thus, the Toktogul valley was one of the most populated areas in Central Asia. There are a lot of yurts in summer time, so you can talk to locals. Kyrgyz nation is very hospitable and polite. The night will be in a home stay.

Day 3: Toktogul – Sary Chelek
Today we will continue our travelling to Sary Chelek lake. Sary-Chelek lake is a very picturesque and beautiful high-mountain lake. It is located in the West of the Kyrgyz Republic, 500 km from Bishkek and 300 km from Osh, and is located on the territory of the Sary-Chelek nature reserve. It is an interesting attraction of the Chatkal range. The length of the lake from North-East to South-West is 7.5 km, the water area is 507 hectares. Sary-Chelek lake is located at an altitude of 1,940 meters above sea level. The Northern shores of the lake are covered with large woodlands consisting of slender firs and firs. You will certainly have the feeling that you are in the impenetrable Siberian forests, if you climb into these dense thickets. In the mirror image of the lake, these striking woodlands admire their beauty. The night will be in a guest home.

Day 4: Sary Chelek – Arslanbob
Arslanbob is a unique creation of nature, a blooming oasis at an altitude of 1600 m above sea level and one of the most beautiful resorts located in the South of Kyrgyzstan. Arslanbob district is located in the tract of the Babash-Ata range on the Western and southern slopes of the Ferghana and Chatkal ranges and is famous, first of all, for its stunning relict nut and fruit forests, covering a total of 608.5 thousand hectares. These are the largest nut and fruit forests on our planet. Up to 130 species of trees and shrubs grow here, including walnuts, pistachios, almonds, pears, apple trees, cherry plums, currants and others. The forests are multi-tiered and have a variety of shrubby undergrowth. This place is famous for walnuts. Walnut leaves and fruits have medicinal properties and contain many vitamins, trace elements and other nutrients. The night will be in a guest home.

Day 5: Arslanbob – Osh
In the morning we will drive to Osh city. Meanwhile we will pass Djalal Abad town and popular Uzgen Tower which is dedicated to 11th century. There is interesting information that it was built by Karakhanids. Further we will go to the Suleiman Mountains (Suleiman Too in Kyrgyz). Sulaiman Too is a five-domed limestone outcrop, elongated from West to East. It is more than 1,140 m long and 560 m wide. It has had a sacred meaning since ancient times, as evidenced by the preserved petroglyphs. There is a Museum of its history on the mountainside. Until the XVI century, the mountain was called Bara-Kuh, then, until the XX century, — Takhty-Suleiman ("throne of Solomon"). Sulaiman Too was included in the UNESCO world heritage List. At the top of the mountain are the mosque "Takhty Sulaiman" (blown up in 1963 and restored from preserved materials in 1991), the mosque "Rawat-abdullakhana", which also dates back to the XVI century and was recently restored — a monument of the XVIII century and the building-khujra.
