Day 1: Dushanbe
Welcome to Tajikistan! You will be met by our guide in the airport and then the transfer will take you to Dushanbe. Today you will explore the capital city of Tajikistan. The tour includes visit of Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Then you will go to National Park, where you will see the Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world. It is 165 meters high, 60 meters long and 30 meters wide. After that you will visit Central Museum and have a lunch. You will also get acquainted with the traditional musical instruments in Gurminj Museum. The last destination for today will be Asian Bazaar. It is very lively place, where local people buy or sell different goods. During the tour you will see all interesting sites of Dushanbe and you will learn about the lifestyle of Tajik people. After an excursion you will be transferred to the hotel. 

Day 2: Dushanbe – Seven Lakes
In the morning we will start our journey to the Fannsky Gory (Fann Mountains). We will drive through the pass Shahriston (3378m). This area is considered a very good for hiking, Today you will discover the amazing beauty of Seven Lakes (Marquzor Lakes). This place is situated about 60 km from the city of Penjakent. The road lies along a gorge where all lakes are located. The lakes differ in altitude above sea level and the color of water. After arrival you will be free to walk around and have a short hiking tour. Besides that you will meet with local people and learn a lot about their lifestyle. The overnight stay will be organized in a homestay.

Day 3: Seven Lakes – Penjakent
The last active day will be dedicated to the sightseeing tour in Panjakent city. It is also known as “5 villages”, because it is believed that five villages were the basis for the formation of this city in the 5th-8th centuries AD. At that time Penjakent was one of the most significant centers of culture and crafts of Sogd.  For this reason it was called as “Central Asian Pompeii”.  On the territory of the city there were ruler's palace, two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses with beautiful paintings, wooden and clay statues of antiquity. The remains of the city were studied only in the 20th century. Now travelers can visit the ruins of dwelling houses, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen and fire worshiper’s church. Today you will spend the night in a hotel.

Day 4: Jartepo
After breakfast you will be taken to the border with Uzbekistan.
