Day 1: Ashgabat
Our team will wait you at the international airport in Ashgabat. Our driver will transfer you to the hotel and you will have a rest. In the afternoon at 2:30 p.m. you will have a guided city tour. Ashgabat is the place where the Presidential Palace and the Mejlis (Parliament) are located) Turkmenistan, the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the Central bodies of state administration of Turkmenistan, the Supreme court and the Prosecutor General's office, permanent Central bodies of public organizations, as well as embassies of various States accredited in Turkmenistan, representative offices of international and regional organizations. The Parthian fortress located in the ancient city of Nisa also known as Parthaunisa. It is an ancient city whose ruins are located near the village of Bagir, 18 km West of Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. The city consists of two settlements — New Nisa, a Parthian city in the valley, and Old Nisa, a Royal fortress on a hill. The night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat – Darwaza
After breakfast we will visit Ertugrul Gazi Mosque. It is located in the center of the capital. Our next destination is Gulistan called also the Russian Bazar. It is one of the oldest markets in Turkmenistan. Afterwards we will drive to Darwaza. A huge part of the territory of Turkmenistan is occupied by the desert. And most of the national wealth is natural gas. A burning crater near the village of Darwaza deserves special attention. This gas crater is one of the most popular tourist attractions. And unreal photos and videos with the name "Gate to Hell", which shows how fire erupts from the ground in the desert, have probably been seen by many. The sight of the flame that burns among the yellow Sands of the desert intrigues and fascinates even travelers who have already seen a lot. But not everyone knows exactly how this mysterious place appeared, which is located 265 kilometers North of the city of Ashgabat. In the evening we will make a picnic. You will spend the night is in tents.
Day 3: Darwaza – Kune Urgench – Shawat border
After breakfast we will travel to Dashoguz region. It is a city in Turkmenistan, the capital of the Dashoguz velayat. The city is located on both banks of the Shavat canal (an irrigation branch of the Amu Darya river). Dashoguz has a nearly 330-year history. Despite the fact that the city itself is relatively young and almost unknown to anyone outside of Turkmenistan, almost on its territory, or more precisely 100 km from it, are the ruins of the ancient city, once the capital of the powerful Khorezm - Kune-Urgench - a monument that is a UNESCO heritage and a state historical reserve of Turkmenistan. However, we will talk about Kune-Urgench a little later, and now we will focus on the modern Dashoguz - a city that, although it can not equal its long-standing predecessor, still deserves attention, since it has also achieved some success during its short existence. You will have a lunch and transferred to Shavat border.
