Day 1: Ashgabat – Old Nisa – Gypchak – Ashgabat
This day you will arrive to Ashgabat International Airport of Turkmenistan where you will be met by our guide. Then you will be transferred to the hotel where you will have a breakfast. This day is dedicated to a city tour of the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat. During the tour we will explore the UNESCO heritage known as the Old Nisa. From the third century BC to the third century AD, Nisa was one of the first capitals of the Parthian Empire, one of the largest state entities of the ancient world. In course of the tour guests will visit following landmarks as the mosque and the mausoleum of president in Gypjak. The overnight will be in the hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat – Darwaza
Today you will have an incredible tour along the mosque “Seyitjemaleddin”. At 15:00 the group will transfer to the northern parts of the country where we will explore the village “Bahardok”. Everyone will have a chance to meet and discover the live of the local people, and reveal the interesting facts about the life in Turkmenistan, their, history, traditions and so on. We will explore the fantastic attraction called Darwaza and explore the fabulous views. Local residents call this site as “Gates to the Hell” due to the mysterious views. In 1971 people create this landmark and there are still flames coming out of it. It will give you the opportunity to see how the incredible nature of Turkmenistan. After we will have a picnic and overnight will be in the tent.
Day 3: Darwaza – Kunya Urgench – Dashoguz
After breakfast we will start tour to amazing attractions such as – Old Urgench, Capital of Khorezm, the Mausoleum of Najm al-Din al-Kubra, Tyurabek Khanum, Il-Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey, the highest minaret in Central Asia KutlygTimur. Night will be in the booked hotel.
Day 4: Dashoguz – Damla
At 09:00 a.m.the visitros will have a breakfast and then transfer to Damla. This site is located in Karakum desert. There are we will have a chance to explore the real traditions and customs of the people of Turkmenistan. This is ideal place where travelers can immerse into the local life and traditions that passed carefully from generation to generation and still existing. The territory can open us sandy dunes and located in the east. This is the perfect place to travel in Turkmenistan. We sure you will like it. Here is also located city called Bekuri. Camels are used here as a means of transport to carry something you need. The most interesting thing is that here you can feel the ancient history, culture, learn a lot of new things in such an isolated place and to explore the significance of the country. The overnight will be in the tents.
Day 5: Damla – Mary – Margush
This day visitors have breakfast national style of the Turkmen people. After that the group at 07:00 will head to Mary City where everyone can enjoy the tour Margush- Gonurdepe. The Kingdom existed 5 thousand years ago. People there were Jack-of-all - trades, engaged in agriculture. They also had a written language. Thus, historians have proved the existence of this center of ancient civilization, along with India, Egypt, Mesopotamia and China. In Afghanistan, many attractions are connected with Margiana. In ancient times it was the civilizations. Night will be in organized tents.
Day 6: Margush – Merv – Mary
You will start the tour with hearty breakfast and today you will explore the territory of the Old Merv. It was located on the Great Silk Road. In the ancient times this city was the important and remarkable on the route of Silk Road. In course of the tour all guests will admire the significant landmarks of the city such as Gyz Gala, Erk Gala, Soltan Gala, Sanjar Mausoleum, IbnZeid Mausoleum. After that we will transfer to Mary city. Night will be in the reserved hotel.
Day 7: Mary – Turkmenabad – Dayahatyn – Mary
On the seventh day of the tour we will have breakfast and start transferring to Turkmenabat city. During the tour visitors can explore local restaurant and have a lunch and then experience magnificent views of Dayahatyn caravanserai. This site is located on the banks of Amu Darya River and played the important role in medieval times. It borders with Uzbekistan and surrounds Turkmenabat, Lebap Wilayah. The caravanserai is square in plan, with the dimensions of the sides 53×53m. In the middle is an open courtyard measuring 30x30m, surrounded by a covered vaulted gallery and numerous large and small rooms located on the four sides of the courtyard. This site is very popular due to unique architecture. You will complete the tour with transferring to Mary city and the overnight is in the hotel.
Day 8: Mary – Ashgabat
Turkmenistan is country of bright contrasts and you will have a chance to explore many highlight in the last active day of the tour. We will explore Ashgabat City after breakfast. Being there we will have an enchanting tour exploring the remarkable sites of the city as the National Historical museum, Gokdepe Mosque and Russian Bazaar where you can buy interesting goods. These attractions are on the top tourists’ visits and play the important role in the life of the local people. The overnight will be in the booked rooms in the hotel.
Day 9: Flight
Today the guests are going to be taken to the International Airport of Ashgabat in order to return back home.
