Day 1: Tashkent
Today you will have a guided tour in the capital city of Uzbekistan - Tashkent. First you will see the main square of the country called the Independence square. It was built in honor if victory over Nazi Germany in the Second World War. After that you will walk along the local Broadway, which is a long walking street near Independence square and Amir Timur square. The next highlight of the city is famous Tashkent metro, which is considered one of the most beautiful subways in the world. The first line was built in 1977. Then you will explore the old part of Tashkent. Here you will see Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex, which includes several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. It’s the most significant exhibit is the Othman Quran, the oldest copy of Muslim Holy book in the world. It belonged to Othman Ibn Affan, the Third Caliph who succeeded the prophet Muhammad. In 8th century he was murdered, the traces of his blood are still visible on the pages of Quran. At the enc of the day you will be taken to the hotel.

Day 2: Tashkent– Nukus (morning flight)
You will have a morning flight to the city of Nukus. Here you will have a sightseeing tour. It will start with a visit to the Museum of Savitsky, or the museum of forbidden art. Its exhibits include 20th century Russian avant-garde paintings, works of Sokolov, Komarovskiy and Amaravella group. The curator of the Karakalpakstan state museum of art collected the artworks in 1960s. He searched for banned works of persecuted soviet artists and then put them in this remote central Asian art-house. On the way we will also visit the remains of ancient city in Mizdakhan necropolis. According to archaeological studies, that this territory was continuously occupied from the 4th century BC till about 14th century AD. The next attraction is the 2200 years-old Zoroastrian monument Chilpyk. After an excursion you will check into the hotel. 

Day 3: Nukus – Kungrat – Sudochye – Aral Sea (420 km, 9 hours)
Today you will take a 9 hours way to Aral Sea. We will drive through Nukus - Kungrad - Plato Ustyurt - Sudochye Lake - Aral Sea. You will also have a chance to see Gaur-Kala Fortress ("fortress of the infidels"). Its construction dates back to the 4th century BC. It is surrounded by 10 meters walls. Inside there are few strongholds. Nowadays it is no longer possible to determine their purpose. In the evening we will arrive at Aral Sea. The driver will organize you a comfortable camp, while you will have free time to walk around and relax. You will have dinner in nature. The overnight stay will be in tents. 

Day 4: Aral Sea – Muinak – Nukus - Tashkent (440 km, 9 hours, flight)
In the morning you will be able to admire the picturesque sunrise. After breakfast we will travel to amazing canyons of Ustyurt and then to Muinak city. The road lies along the dried bottom of the sea. Muinak is the clear example of the consequence of an ecological disaster in this area. Before the disaster it was the largest Karakalpakstan’s port and Aral Sea center of fishery. The main highlights of the city are the town museum and mysterious graveyard of ships, which is located on the former shore of the Aral Sea. After an excursion we will head to Nukus and then you will have a flight to Tashkent. Upon arrival you will be taken to the hotel.

Day 5: Tashkent – Flight
Today is the last day of your tour in Uzbekistan. In the morning the transfer will take you to the airport.
