Day 1: Tashkent
Today you will have a guided tour in the capital city of Uzbekistan – Tashkent. The first attraction is the Independence square. It is a main square of the country that symbolizes the victory over fascism in the Second World War After that you will go through the walking street between Independence Square and Amir Timur square. It is also known as the local Broadway. Tashkent metro is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. The construction of the first line was finished in 1977. Then you will start to explore the historical monuments of the old part of Tashkent such as Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex. The complex includes several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. The most valuable exhibit is the Othman Quran – the oldest copy of Quran in the world. It dated back to the 8th century. At that time it belonged to Othman Ibn Affan, the Third Caliph who succeeded the prophet Muhammad. He was murdered in the 8th century. You can see the traces of his blood on the pages of Quran. At the end of the day you will be taken to the hotel. 

Day 2: Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva (morning flight)
After breakfast you will have a flight to Urgench, then we will drive to Khiva.  After arrival you will have an interesting tour in one of the most ancient cities of Uzbekistan. The main attractions are located inside its inner city Ichan-Qala, which is surrounded by wide walls. Here you will see old sound buildings, palaces, and mosques, Madrasahs, Mausoleums, Minarets, Caravan-Sarais and Bathhouses. There are over 400 traditional dwelling houses and about 60 architectural monuments. Ichan-Qala considered as city-monument and in 1969 it got a status of historical and architectural conservation area. The most famous highlights are the Kunya-Ark fortress (17th century), which was built by the order of Muhammad Arang Khan, Kalta Minor minaret and Tash Khouvli palace, which represents the Khorezm architectural art of 1830s. Today you will spend the night at the hotel.

Day 3: Khiva – Shavat
In the morning you will be transferred to Shavat border (60 km).
