Day 1: Tashkent
Today you will have a sightseeing tour in the capital city of Uzbekistan – Tashkent. The first highlight of the city is the main square called Independence square. It was created in memory of the victory over fascism in the Second World War. After that you will walk along the long walking street, also known as local Broadway. It is situated between the main square and Amir Timur square. You will have a chance to take pictures of Tashkent metro. It is considered one of the beautiful subways in the world. The construction of the first line was finished in 1977. Then you will explore the old part of the city. It is full of historical sites such as Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex, which is represented by several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. Its main exhibit is the Othman Quran. It is famous for being the oldest Quran copy in the World. In 8th century it belonged to Othman Ibn Affan, the Third Caliph who succeeded the prophet Muhammad. The traces of his blood are still visible on the pages of the Quran. After an excursion you will be taken to the hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent – Samarkand (350 km, 4 hrs drive)
In the morning you will head to the second largest city in the country - Samarkand. Moreover it is considered the same age as Rome or Babylon. Samarkand is located in the valley of the river Zerafshan. Today you will explore all interesting sites such as Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan Square is a complex of three fascinating Madrasahs, which date back to the 15th-17th centuries. You will be impressed by the magnificence of that place. Architectural complex of Shakhi-Zindeh consists of several mausoleums of 11th-15 centuries. It is also included in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Bibi Khanum Mosque was erected in memory of Tamerlane’s wife, after his conquests in India. Today you will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 3: Samarkand – Tashkent (350 km, 4 hrs drive)
Today will be dedicated to the continuation of the guided tour in Samarkand city. You will see famous Ulughbek observatory, which was created in 15th century by the order of Ulughbek, Samarkand ruler and scientist. In 1437 he wrote the “Zigji Guragoni” catalog which contains the information about 1018 celestial bodies. Ulughbek was assassinated by his son’s associates. Then you will visit the local Broadway. It is a long street full of souvenir shops, teahouses, sweets and workshops. After that you will visit bazaar Siab, or oriental bazaar. Here you will feel the local atmosphere and you will find a big variety of Uzbek traditional handmade products and local sweets. Then we will start returning to Tashkent. The distance between these two cities is 350 km, so the road takes about 4,5 hours drive. The overnight stay will be organized in the hotel.
Day 4: Tashkent – Chimgan Mountains – Tashkent
Today you will travel to beautiful Chimgan Mountains. After arrival you will climb to the top of the mountain by a chair lift. One way will take half an hour. Here you will be able to see the Bekdersay peak. You will be able to walk around, relax alone with nature and enjoy the spectacular view. On the way back you will see the wonderful Charvak Lake. Here you will have some free time to come closer to water or even try water activities (as per season). Charvak is an artificial lake. It is a very popular holiday destination among local people and tourists from different countries. After an excursion we will return to Tashkent. You will spend the night at the hotel.

In the morning you will be taken to the airport.
