Day 1: Tashkent
Our company is very happy to welcome you in fairy tale country Uzbekistan. Our driver will meet you at Tashkent International Airport. Then you will transfer to the capital. This day is dedicated to a city tour where you will see the most magnificent sites. This day you will explore the mains square of the country the Independence Square. Then you will direct to Broadway. This is popular street which is situated near two important squares of the city Independence Square and Amir Timur square. After that will be offered to visit famous Tashkent metro. This is one of the most subways in the world where it is possible to make photos. Further you will head to the old parts of the city as Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam consisting of madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. You will see today the interesting highlight called Othman Quran. It is the most ancient copy of Quran found in the 8th century. Night will be in the hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent – Samarkand
This day will start with driving to Samarkand by train. Samarkand is one of the most ancient cities in Central Asia, Dating back about 2,500 years and is the same age as Rome and Babylon. This glorious city is located in the valley of the Zeravshan River. Then you will have a chance to get acquainted with the most fascinating sites of the city such as Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan is a powerful square consisting of madrassas of 15-17 centuries; no one can resist the greatness of the sights on it. We sure you will like his city and will be impressed by its great attractions. Then you will get to another attraction called Shakhi-Zindeh. A monument of artistic architecture that is of special historical and cultural value, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Bibi Khanum is a grand Mosque that was built in honor of favorite wife of Tamerlane. You will rest the night in the hotel.
Day 3: Samarkand
Today you will also discover the city Samarkand city. You are going to visit the interesting site Ulughbek observatory (15th century). it is a historical monument and one of the best observatories in the Islamic world. Ulugbek was a man who revealed the secrets of the universe. Creator of a unique construction site, statesman, scientist, mathematician, poet, astronomer who created a unique table in 1437 the “Zidji Guragoni” which included information 1018 celestial bodies. Then you are going to stroll along the popular Broadway and explore souvenir shops, teahouses, sweets and workshops. We offer you to explore the National bazaar Siab (Oriental bazaar). There you can find Uzbek traditional handmade products and local sweets. Then you will get to carpet handmade factory done by over 400 women. This night will be in the hotel.
Day 4: Samarkand – Gijduvan – Bukhara
Today you will transfer to the holy city of Bukhara. Along the way you will explore in Gijduvan village the private pottery workshop. A special pride of Gijduvan is their unusually beautiful and distinctive ceramics. The most famous workshop of Gijduvan ceramics belongs to the Narzullayev family. Wepromise you will admire the colorful and vivid craft. The ceramic itself is made of colorful colors mostly green and blue. After you will transfer to Bukhara city where during the tour you will break at the famous memorial complex of Al Bukhary. There are also located near Al Bukhary with Islamic scholar, who create the hadith collection known as Sahih al-Bukhari. After arriving to Bukhara you will rest the night in the hotel.
Day 5: Bukhara
This day id devoted to a wonderful city tour in Bukhara. You will visit amazing site called Citadel Ark (4th century) in Bukhara. This site is the most ancient building on the territory of Bukhara and served as a palace of several dynasties of Bukhara Empire. Further you will visit Samanids mausoleum that is one of the most remarkable attractions of Bukhara dating to the 9th and 10th century. After that you will transfer to Chashma Ayub or Job's well and Bolo-Hauz mosque, traditionally revered place, a well with a spring that arose at the behest of the biblical Job-Ayub. Then you will have a chance to stroll along the magnificent shops and head on to the famous madrasah of Bukhara - Nodir Divan Begi. It is also a part of Lyabi House Ensemble. You will continue travelling exploring Poi Kalon complex and admire the architectural masterpiece of Bukhara. There you will be inspired by the grandeur three structures that were erected in the 12th and 16th centuries such as Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. This night will be in the hotel.
Day 6: Bukhara
Our company is glad to organize such wonderful tour for you. You will also explore today holy city Bukhara. You will start the tour with exploring Bahauddin Naqshbandi complex. This complex is not far from Bukhara. You will admire the holy complex of famous Sufi Leader and Philosopher where Muslim people used to pilgrimage, an iconic ensemble located in the suburban area of Bukhara. The complex served as the center of the Naqshbandi dervish order. Its head, Sheikh Bahauddin Naqshbandi, died in 1389 and was buried near the village of Qasri Arifon near Bukhara. It consists of a madrasah, two mosques and a minaret. Then you will head to Sitorai Mohi Hosa complex, agricultural residence of the Emir of Bukhara, built in the late XIX-early XX century. The name of the Palace translates as a Palace like the stars and moon. The Palace was the summer residence of the emirs (rulers of Bukhara). Then you will be offered to drive Sumiton village and explore Chor Bakr memorial complex, this is a sacred place, which is also called the city of the dead. This complex was erected during Samanids dynasty (16th century). You will rest the night in the hotel.
Day 7: Bukhara – Khiva
This day you will transfer to ancient Khiva. This city is famous for attractive 140 architectural monuments dating back to the Middle Ages. There are located the green avenues, parks, narrow streets and other beautiful streets. Although buildings were built in different times they located close to each other. The road from Bukhara to Khiva will run through popular and fascinating Kizilkum desert. During the tour you will admire the fabulous view to Amu Darya River and the deepest river in Central Asia which is formed by the confluence of the Pyanj and Vakhsh in Tajikistan. Upon arriving to Khiva you will check in the hotel and have night in the hotel..
Day 8: Khiva – Urgench – Tashkent
This is the last active day of your tour where you will explore the fascinating sites of glorious city Khiva. This city has a lot of wonderful attractions and landmarks in Uzbekistan. Today you will explore the inner city Ichan-Qala of Khiva that surrounded by high walls. There are located a lot of ancient buildings, palaces, mosques, Madrasahs, Mausoleums, Minarets, Caravan-Sarais and Bathhouses which is formed Ichan-Qala into unique city-monument. There are also situated over 400 traditional dwelling houses and 60 architectural monuments. This is the first site that was included into the UNESCO World Heritage list as a full city. There are you will find the remarkable sites as the Kunya-Ark fortress (17th century) was found by Muhammad Arang Khan, the Kalta Minor minaret as well as the Tash Khouvli palace. These attractions will impress you and important to note that this is unique masterpiece of 1830s. You will complete the tour with the flight to Tashkent. This night will be in the hotel.
